There is a very active Parents Association who are involved in many areas of school life.

They organise many seminars to enhance both their own role as parents, the primary educators, and the academic life of all our students.

The Parents Association consists of two elected members from each school year, two Board of Management representatives, the Home School Community Liaison Officer, the Deputy Principal and the Principal.

It has participated in drafting school policies, Healthy Eating Committee, fundraising,advising the Prinicipal on school matters and representing the Parent body on their views and opinions.

The Parents Association now organises an Annual Social to enable Parents to meet socially and to raise funds for the school. Parents Council Social for all Parents/Friends of the school took place on Friday 30th January 2009 in the Mayfly Hotel in Foxford. Thank you to all who supported the event. The Parents Association organises other fundraising activities throughout the year.

The Parents Association is also involved in the promotion of Healthy Eating in the school.

It also participates in the recruitment of new students by giving important information to Parents/Guardians. The Chairperson presents The Parents Association Shield to the Student of the Year each year at Prizegiving.
