Science Subjects

A general programme in Science is followed at Junior Certificate level, which includes:

• Physics - studies of electricity, magnetism, light, heat, sound and energy
• Chemistry - the atom, elements, acids, metals, water treatment etc.
• Biology - animal and human biology, plant life, ecology and the environment.
• The study of the Earth, materials, food etc.

At Leaving Certificate level, Biology, Physics and Chemistry are offered to students.
